Challenge

Marketing a professional event in a niche industry takes a different approach than general event marketing. The audience is specialized, the credibility bar is high, and generic campaigns simply don't land. Property insurance claims is a focused field, and Illinois adds its own layer of complexity: unique building codes, regional weather exposures, and a legal and regulatory environment that professionals in other states don't have to navigate. A founder in the claims space saw the need for a dedicated, full-day educational event built specifically for Illinois claims professionals: public adjusters, appraisers, umpires, contractors, and consultants. The goal was a recurring series with a fresh speaker lineup and new topics each time. Getting there meant building everything from the ground up. No brand, no website, no marketing assets, and no campaign to drive registrations yet.

Solution

Kuva Media built the brand and the full event marketing engine from scratch. The engagement began with a complete brand identity package: logo suite, typography, color system, and a brand style guide that establishes a consistent, credible presence across every touchpoint. From there, Kuva developed the event website and landing page, a custom social media campaign with designed post graphics, email marketing, and Facebook ad creative. Speaker coordination was built into the workflow so that bios, headshots, and talking points could be gathered efficiently and translated into timely content updates throughout the promotional cycle. Kuva also managed social media and marketing activity during and after the event itself: a phase most brands leave unplanned, and where a significant amount of community-building and attendee retention actually happens. The result is a workshop series with a brand that holds its own alongside the professionals it serves, and a repeatable marketing framework that scales as new events are added to the calendar.
